2013 Buick Enclave Spotted in the Wild

When something's kept under wraps, it only serves to pique our interest even more. And when that something is the 2013 Buick Enclave, can really expect us to not visually dissect every detail possible when we get a hint? Recently, Motor Trend caught a sneak peak of the Buick crossover prowling the streets out in the wild, and they managed to grab more than a few snapshots of it.

So what's changed about the Enclave? Exterior wise, the Buick family hauler gains a much larger front-end grille. It's defined by a new generation of Buick waterfall grille design, featuring larger vertical lines and new headlamps. Other than that, the exterior appears to remain mostly the same. Not that we're complaining or anything... After all, the current 2012 Buick Enclave is a vehicle that borders on automotive perfection.

Of course, we realize that a new front end doesn't make for a full redesign. But unfortunately, the two other areas where the Enclave is expected to see improvements are out of view in the shot. Namely, those would be the interior and what's under the hood. Some have speculated that the Enclave will gain a new powerplant option or two, and until we see more extensive testing done of this model, it's hard to say what they will be. One glimmer of hope for the redesigned interior rumor is given, however, in the fact that the prototype model photographed had its interior heavily camouflaged.
