Checking Out The 2012 Buick Regal GS

The 2012 Buick Regal GS is ready to drop into dealership lots across the United States and Canada. This popular rebirth of a classic GM ride, Regal GS comes with several powertrain options that will charm most drivers.

Available for a test drive this Fall at Grand Buick GMC Kia in Denver, CO the automotive experts at Automobile mag took a closer look at this prestigious new sedan.

Regal originally came back to life in 2008, as the Opel Insignia in Europe. The car was a hit to say the least.

The GS version is equipped with a 2.0L DOHC turbocharged I-4 engine. That motor, when matted to a six speed manual transmission, reaches 270 horsepower ad 295 lb ft of torque. The vehicle is a front wheel drive car, but it still packs a mighty punch when taking off from a stop sign, with 20-inch polished aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in 255/35ZR20 tires.

You would think Fuel Economy ratings would be low, but this powerful car still reaches an EPA estimated 19 MPG city and 27 mpg highway.

Check out the all new Buick Regal GS now, starting at $35,310 MSRP.
